About HIT

Welcome to the H.I.T. team home page. We are a Community Oriented group of Paranormal historians and enthusiasts that meet regularly for the purpose of investigating the oft described, but little known secrets and whispers from the pages of Central Indiana History. Our principal interest is ghost hunting and that is the one thing that all of our members have in common. However, we are historians first and our purpose in investigating a local haunt is to research, identify and discover who, or perhaps what, might be lingering in a particular spot and why they choose to remain here in our world. 

            We are different from other so called "Ghost Groups" because our founders are a diverse, mature group of professionals with a combined wealth of over 100 years experience investigating the paranormal. We have been together as a group for five years now. Our founders are very proud of their past service and unlike other groups, we are willing to put a face and name with an e-mail so that you can be sure of who you are dealing with out here in cyberspace.             Our group is very involved in the communities that we investigate. Our specialty is researching, planning, & leading haunted walks & ghost tours all over the state of Indiana to benefit the the communities we tour. You can learn more about these efforts by visiting our Community Involvement page. We have ranged as far north as South Bend and as far south as French Lick to host and lead ghost tours. Unlike other groups, we do not wait until we have enough people to fill out a tour to decide when our tours will be held. Unlike other groups, we are all volunteers and we make no money and receive no compensation for the work that we do. To date, we have raised well over $ 15, 000 for the communities that we've planned historic ghost walks & hosted tours in. You can learn more about our tour schedule on the Ghost Tours page.

            Another one of our specialties is the private, confidential investigation of homes, buildings, and businesses that have had paranormal experiences and unexplained happenings. We do not charge for our investigations and offer complete discretion with our findings when requested. As previously stated, you will find that you're dealing with a group of mature, professional people that are normal, everyday folks. Just like yourself. However, make no mistake about it. We are serious and dedicated to what we do and our members are willing to travel any distance required to provide free consultation and advice.
